This is Hasebe Aya, my fave female character from Comic Party or ComiPa. Have watched the whole episode of ComiPa Revolution but haven't watched the prequel of the show
which is Comic Party (w/o Revolution).
This figure was released back on 2004 by Kotobukiya. Wasn't able to get this earlier as I have yet to realize that there is this Hasebe Aya figure that's been existing for a while now.
Good thing that my request to order this figure at HLJ came. I wasn't really expecting this to come. Either way was fine but I felt joyous after receiving this figure together with my
ordered WAVE's Kousaka Tamaki & Manaka Komaki figures.
This figure is approximately 9-10cm small w/o the base. I'd say that this figure has great sculpt but the hair is too shiny for my taste and the base is damn huge!. I also like how the
sculptor which is Takayuki Kawahara-san sculpted/designed her pose and the nightdress she is wearing. Her poseis kinda moe and especially paired with her innocent facial expressions
just like in the show where she's always sitting and helping besides Kazuki Sendo, the doujin-artist.
All in all, this figure is a good buy especially it came from Kotobukiya and its great sculptors. I'm a big fan of Kotobukiya figures and most of my figures are from this company if
not from Bandai.
Anyway, for this photoshoot, I did not do photoshoot which is shooting the details of the figure, etc. but by angles which I found fun and challenging for a n00b (self-proclaimed)toy
photographer like me. I'm looking forward to the day that my skills and techniques becomes that of qualified toy photographer.
