Bandai 1/72 HG Aura Battler Dunbine Renewal ver.



Bought this kit from Hobbylink Japan as it was on sale together with HG L-Gaim Heavy Coating version last month.
We really love stuffs on sale that's why impulse purchase often comes.. and this was out of my curiousity since I really don't have many non-gundam kits from Bandai except for the Ishtar mk-II that I had many years ago. The scale is 1/72 and just looks slightly slimmer than 1/144 kits. Dunno much about 1/72 scale sizes though...


A really unique kit. I say unique cuz of the non-gundam design. I've seen the OVA of Dunbine but not the series. I have also played Super Robot Wars series game that have
Dunbine and Billbine included in it also Real Robot Battle Line (which features few Gundams, L-Gaim, Dunbine and other real robot type mechs) and an exclusive all-Dunbine
story for PSOne which I have owned and played but forgot the title.


The chest cover is removable but didn't remove it on this review. Have painted the unpainted pilot as well.. but not really that good.


What I don't really like about this kit was the rubbery hands, and some poses causes the kit to out balance and fall.


Armaments include Aura Sword and Aura Shoot.


Looks like Dunbine's ascending to the sky.


I lurve this pose. It's flying.
