Bandai HG Heavy Metal L-Gaim Heavy Coating ver.



Bought this kit together with the previously reviewed Dunbine kit at HLJ since it's on sale and was curious about the quality of this non-gundam kit from Bandai.
In this photoshoot, I made the pictures black and white for a change of style. Anyway, the kit's almost just black and white anyway.


This L-Gaim kit is slightly taller than most of my 1/144 gundam kits.


The armaments include Power Launcher x1 / Saber x1 / Lancer x1(Hand Launcher x1) / Solar Binder (Shield) x1) / (Power Launcher x2, S-Mine x2) / Buster Launcher.


This is the most complex kit I've built so far. The legs were just so detailed for a 1/144 scale kit.


What I love and hate is the hoses that were provided which are connected to the Power Launchers and Buster Launcher onto the jack located "below the belt".
They were pretty annoying at first but used to it later on.


Just like Dunbine, this mech also appeared on some Super Robot Wars series games (so far I only seen it appeared on SRW-F, SRW-F Final, SRW 4th for PSOne)
and Real Robot Battle Line but there are some other games that the mech appeared but not too sure about it.










Buster Launcher is badass.
